After spending some time here in 2009 we decided to sell our house and leave our jobs to move here, seemed perfect no more winters and just sun and fun...
I really miss having my own house :( after some garage sales and some drama the house finally sold.
So we said our goodbyes and took what was left of our belongings to the airport along with our 2 beloved rottweilers
The plane ride was stressfull and all we did was worry about the dogs :( once we landed it was lineup after lineup and then a 4hr wait for customs to release the hounds lol.
We drove from Santiago to Quilpue and were met by Claudio's family
The house we will be staying in belongs to Claudio's family and is going to be torn down and rebuilt in the next few months, there is a back house which was built in 1971 which we will be staying in until the new house is complete.
This room is under renovation right now so it's been hectic to say the least.
The dogs seem to be adjusting ok but we all really miss being able to go for long walks and just run loose in the park :( . They mostly sleep,eat,and guard ( aka scare the crap out of everyone who passes by)
